My Favorite Computing Innovation
My favorite computing invention would have to be the iPhone. It's made by Apple and its most basic purpose is to call someone. But it does a lot more than just that. Its cost isn't really consistent, since it seems to go up each year. Typically it's around or over $1,000. I like the iPhone because it's a worse laptop but with even more portability. One interesting trend that has taken place with the iPhone, and other smartphones, is the movement towards bigger smartphones. The reason for the bigger smartphones has been to allow for more room for hardware, and therefore increased capability of the smartphone.
However, with stagnating iPhone sales, maybe Apple's most prized invention and asset has reached its peak. Even if it has, I'd say the peak has been pretty good, to be modest.
